This is a customer support position supporting customers of EnglishCentral, an online English learning resource with more than 670 educational institutions in Japan and over 8 million users globally.
This is a customer support position where you will work with our Japanese team and overseas staff to respond to inquiries received mainly from Japanese customers by phone or e-mail, as well as back-office work such as procedures for starting to use the service, translating the site, and improving operations. If you have the mindset that you want to work by making the most of your English skills, want to improve them, want to help customers, and want to be involved in English education in Japan, you are welcome to apply, even if you have no experience!
We will respond to contacts from school and company personnel and from learners who are using our services.
In order to respond to inquiries, you will communicate in English with our overseas staff to find the cause of the problem, solve the problem, and make suggestions regarding its use.
We will prepare your account and set up your classes with EnglishCentral before your school or business begins using the service.
You are expected to make suggestions for improvement based on inquiries from customers and things you notice while using the service yourself.
In this environment where people can freely express their opinions, they can discuss their own proposals with overseas staff, and if their opinions are accepted, they may actually be reflected in the product.
When a new feature is released, we test it for glitches and other problems.
It is one of the privileges of customer support to be the first to experience the latest features.

We will create internal manuals as well as manuals and videos that users will be comfortable using.
